The Neckline

The bears are in control today in line with the poor performance of the other Asian markets.The Bursa index closed @ 1366.99 (-10.14)This is the pivot point of the month.It has found its neckline of the low @1363.0 in tandem with the high on 15/06/07(Friday) and the low on 18/06/07(Monday)So we'll be above stormy waters in the days to come.

The MDEX index futures did not manage to cover the gap between 1351.0 (15/06/07-Friday) and 1362.0(18/06/07-Monday)Henceforth the northpole is going to be the next destination!

On the stock front,Property stock EQUINE was hammered down with a lost of 0.68 cents.The counter open @RM4.90(also the high) RM4.28(low) RM4.32(Closing) Volume:68,016 lots.
The reason might be Singapore Stock Exchange property stocks were the biggest losers today which affected it since it has a foreign investor:Lion Capital Management Ltd.One George Street#08-01 Singapore 049145. who holds 15,086,800 shares.

You'll be surprise this hedge funds will short cover again giving it a meteoric rise.It has been the darling of the property counter lately.

The Gimmicks.

Wall Street was down 185.58 points on Friday that sent the European & Asian stocks again to a tailspin.What a preplan strike which has been anticipated,a typical market agenda of fear by pumping negative news so as to rob peter & pay paul.
As for MDEX index futures,the market makers has anticipated this when a gravestone doji was formed on Thursday 21/6/07 prior to the hangman.
Anyway we have 4 more days to expiry and the roll-over is about to start tomorrow with heavy volumes.The market will be very bright again tomorrow & we can have good candlelight dinner.
As for Bursa stocks,the lower liners are stealing the show today.One counter I've notice is Maxbiz(formerly Geahin)opens at 0.195cents also the low,0.365 cents the high and closed at 0.36cents (+0.175) Volume:135887lots.Annalog Corporation Ltd,31/F,The Center.99,Queens Central.Hong Kong has bought & hold 7,578,900 shares of RM1.00. Pls be informed that on the 31/5/07 the company has defaulted in payment in relation to the demand of the sum RM23,070,388.38 regarding a RCSLS secured against 2 pieces of land.
Gap-up counters:TAMCORP,CENTURY,NYLEX,CEPAT

Time for Bonds.

The Bursa closed again at an all time high @1391.57(+3.61) while the MDEX index futures was @1391.0( a Hangman formation) ie: a small white body with a long shadow below it.It has similiarity to a Hammer when it forms at a bullish top,it will be very bad for the days to come.This confirms the bullish hammer noticed 2 days ago.So investors,get ready to run for cover.A possible Black Monday.A Gap Down in the index is a sure possibility.The shanghai stock exchange Composite in the afternoon session was down 124.495 points@ 2.00pm and started sliding down to 205.938 points level @ 2:30pm.The speed & magnitude it crashes is likened an on coming tsunami.

Inspite of this volitality,investors have to react fast without hesitation and not wait-and see attitude.There are chances you can make a comeback again.
As for stocks,SAPCres,20 cents ordinary shares saw Seadrill Ltd,14,Par-La-Ville Place.Hamilton.HM08 Bermuda bought a total 12m shares between 12June to 15June.It closes at RM2.00.Be on a lookout on this stock.

Finally the Bursa composite index has caught up with their international peers.A record breaking close of 1386.27 (+9.48).A symbol of Malaysia Boleh!
The MDEX index futures open @1382.5 Having a low of 1379.5 @09:12am. Touches the high of 1387.0@12:11am.At lunch break it was 1382.5. (A spinning top)
In the afternoon session it was still hoovering between the morning range before the breakout at 4:52 pm just minutes before the closing bell.At 5:00pm the index was 1383.86(+7.07) after which it was adjusted to 1386.27(+9.48).It has been happening most of the time.
From the candle pattern it looks like a bullish Hammer.What say you?Well, I'm a bit cautious as US will be having the leading indicators tonight & the FOMC meeting on 27/06/07 another rate fear might be on the card.

Ferocious Dragon.

I made a bid @1359.5 on the index futures before the opening bell.Last Friday close was 1357.5.
Good gracious ,it open furiously at 1370.0 what a 12.5 point GAP-UP.From then on it strike an early low of 1368.5 and then don't look back.By lunch break it was at 1375.0 while the cash market was 1369.94(+9.29)
At the close of market it was 1384.0 while Bursa close at 1372.28(+11.63)See it is 12 point premium.
Anyway this gap-up might be filled when the dragon flies in no man's land & might take a breather.
Tomorrow we might see a mild correction.
On the stock front,do you like NYLEX.Well,look out for it.Closing today 1.52(+0.12)

Heading North.

The Friday closing for Bursa index is 1360.65 whilst the Mdex is 1357.5
Both of these indices point to a Dragonfly Doji formation beautifully constructed by the market makers.Chartwise if you look back at the trading range of 01.06.07 ie:1357.0 - 1374.0 this covering of the range is going to materialise in the week to come.
Monday indices might open with a gap-up and quite possibly index futures might command a premium.Our market might do the catching up game.
The uptrend is still intact but this month range is very limited to 70 point range for MDEX.
What Is A Dragonfly Doji?
It should have a long lower shadow which indicates that the market moved significantly lower during the session however the bulls exerted enough buying pressure to force the price back up to the opening level.
The dragonfly doji is closely related to the Hammer which is also found at the bottom of a downtrend & signify the start of a reversal.
