Beware of the QUADRAPLE WITCHING which is going to happen on the 3rd Friday of December month.Checking the calender,it falls on the 21st December.So gear up for the extreme volatility.
This is the day on which contracts for:
1) Index Futures. )
2) Stock Index Options. ) ALL
3) Stock Options. ) EXPIRES
4) Single Stock Futures )
This is similar to the triple witching hour except that the quadraple witching hours see also the expiry of the single stock futures.
It will be a freaky Friday where daytraders,scalpers,speculators will have extreme impact except for long term investors...minimal impact.
So,Moody is rating downward some of the financial instituitions and have started the ball rolling.
Is Goldman Sachs be the next to downgrade other companies,I'm sure they are going to.Afterall Fed's rate cut has already been priced in when the Dow made a super boom last Wednesday.Maybe they might buy-up near witching day.So meantime I'll be at the sideline.
